What I did to stop the error from popping up again was to replace dinput8.dll (181760 byte), in the system32 to the DX9 installation dinput8.dll (664576 byte) Remember the byte sizes. When I replaced the 1.81kb dinput with the 6.64kb dinput everything worked fine and peachy. I hope this works for everyone else. Peace out.
