Office 2003 keyboard courption Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 8:33 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Dave (15 messages posted) I did a clean install of office 2003 on my windows 2000 system, everything worked fine. I made sure my O/S was up to date and installed all office 2003 updates everything worked fine for about a month then my keyboard started messing up typing s key put a u onscreen almost all the letter keys placed a different character on screen than the key typed. This was the case in office, windows explorer and internet explorer. I tried word pad and keys typed correctly so I uninstalled office 2003 this fixed the problem in internet explorer and windows explorer. My son is taking computer classes and was issued academic copy of office 2003 the computer he uses at home does not have the power and resources to run XP. Is there a solution to this problem? My son also informed me that at least 2 other classmates that were using Win 2K have had the same problem.
