Hi Rick
win2k gave you may tools to recovery from a crash, but you must read a bit.
The 1st. rule in windows is backup,backup,backup and make a ERD disk with in the
backup tool in win2k.
But it sounds like you would be best off to move to XP it's a be more forgiving than
win2k and has a restore program built in by default.
