" i get a beep! out of memory" not the norm you may want to go to the control panel and check out the sounds, the critical stop beep is the norm or the default beep but no beep for out of memory. It sounds like a error in the spooler (critical stop) but you can also check the event logs to see what's going on. And use DrWatson to run the error down. Start/Programs/Acc./System tools/System info/Tools/DrWatson .
