PC/Server Hang when cable connect to NIC.

I've this weird problem. I've reformat my server for office work use & use it for few weeks now. But today, it hangs immediately when the network cable being inserted to the NIC. When no cable connected, everything is fine. BTW, I've tried changing the NIC, but the same thing happen. Acer Altos G310 40GB HDD 128MB Memory Win 2k SP4
