I am trying to install Tim Raines' browcon utility for exploring browsing issues. My computer is running Windows 2000 Pro, and when I tried to install the utility from the .msi file, it says that I need .NET version 1.1.4322, and offers a button to download it. However, the download I found offered .NET version 2. Although programs usually accept a minimum version of base software they require, this program is being stubborn about it, and won't install without the exact version. I can't find a newer version of browcon, either, and Tim Raines' blog on MSDN has comments shut off, so I can't ask him, either. Anybody have an idea ?
