First off, thanks to anyone who can help because I’m about ready to set this thing on fire. I turned on my pc and I got the system32\system is corrupt or missing message. I have somewhat recent backups so I used Bart PE to replace the system file with different backups. When I boot the pc with the backups I either get the same message (system32\system is corrupt or missing) or a blue screen with STOP: 0x 7B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. I’ve unplugged all my other HDs. Ran Seagate diagnostic software on it and Microsoft chkdsk, there where no problems. Also repaired the MBR with fdisk. Nothing has made any difference. I haven’t made any hardware changes in a month or two and I don’t think I installed any new software right before this happened. I’m currently in the process of scanning my pc for viruses/spyware, but I don’t really expect it to find anything. Thanks again for any suggestions.
