I too face this problem. What I do is to drag the pop-up into one corner of the screen (usually the bottom right corner) and keep it hidden there. To drag the pop-up you click the top blue bar of the pop-up and drag with the mouse button held down. Once it is hidden this way, the pop-ups do not come again for that session.
