Cannot install PC-cillin 2006

My copy of PC-cillin 2006 has expired and I obtained a new version today. The installer
asked me to uninstall any previous version of the prog before installing the new
one. I uninstalled it with no problem. However, now the installer insists there still
is a copy of an earlier PC-cillin 2003 that must be removed before the new software
can be installed. PC-cillin 2003 is currently nowhere on my machine, except possibly
somewhere in the registry. In what part of the Registry would I have to look for
this key? How would I remove it?
