The problem is at the server running W2000. Even if the laptop is not connected,
the network is still inaccessible. The other computers can't communicate, except
for one that can print through it. All the computers see the network drive which
goes through a switch connected to the router. But they cannot access each others'
drives and files. Very vexing.
