They don't last forever ,,, but try this,,, pull it out then reboot with out it
then put it back in ,windows should see it and use or ask for a driver for it....
If not just replace it, they are cheap now days, you didn't say it was a onboard
type if so disable it (in the BIOS) and then reable it and see windows finds it,,,,
it just may need to be updated with a new driver....you can tell this in the device
mrg. if you see a red x on the device it's needs a new drivers...
