Well, here it is August and the RegUpdate.net error messages have managed to get
into a computer and internet service that I had running for just a few days. I tried
to block the messenger from the control panel/Admin Tools/Messenger, right click
properties. Select Stop and then disable in the startup type scroll bar and then
OK. It seemed to stop my computer from running continuously at least. I will try
the other suggestions as well. I was trying to install a firewall and a popup blocker
through www.rogers.yahoo.com/ryop, but that kept failing everytime I restarted the
computer and it had to be downloaded through Internet Explorer. I am currently using
Mozilla Firefox and it seems more stable, but I do want the firewall protection and
an alternate popup blocker if that will help. Not sure if I can download one through
Mozilla. Recommendations?
