Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life.
-- Chinese proverb --
The norm is the mouse is going bad or to say it's not the right type for your PC..
I have a Laptop top that takes out mice left and right, the wireless type ,,, it
over loads them with power from the USB port and wipes out the hardware in the mouse..
The other type I use is the non ball type and it wipes them out from time to time
, the ones that last the longest are the ball type but than they pickup junk off
the pad...all the time...so the bottom line is pickup a mouse or two and keep them
on hand....
