Hi anu:
I use ZTreeWindows to make backup copies of the
files on my hard drive -- not an image. Then
I can retrieve one file easily from the USB backup
drive. ZTW will also keep the two drives "in sync"
without re-copying the whole drive.
It's biggest drawback is that it looks like a DOS
program.
Not free, but you can test it free for 30 days.
