The 10 limit is set in stone and can not be adjusted. Are there also folders being
shared on that workstation? That is, do people connect to it to store files that
others can work with. If that is the case, they all count as connections as well.
Yo get around it, there are a cople options. One is to by an additional workstation
with 2000 pro and make it an additional "server" and have half connect to it. The
other is to buy a server OS like 2000 server or server 2003. Both would handle the
extra connections as that is what they are designed for. Cost for another pc with
a workstation OS on it capable of acting as a print server would be just a little
less than the Server OS by itself with additional CAL's. Other folks may have different
ideas.
