Here is what I have to do. I have to install original Windows 2000 on the first primary portion and is has to be under 128GB (137GB). The I install SP-4. Next I have to use the patch to fix the registry. Then reboot and make more partitions above the limit. My SP-4 disk, as far as I remember,, does not update the registry, it only puts in the drivers and some other stuff. The patch to the registry is available from various sources.
