I upgraded from w2k to xp pro - found I had problems with firewire and my two MOTU 828 devices. While on XP pro, I did generate some wav files. I finally went back to w2k where all my devices worked well but now I can not open the wav files I created on XP. I see them, I have my permissions correct, but it says "access denied - the source file may be in use". I tried rebooting and going directly to the file and try to copy it with the same message. I thought going to XP would be a good idea but yikes! I'm about to go to a MAC and I really don't like a one button mouse - please help!
