Some laptops are just that ,it's takes time for windows to load up the right driver
for your 1024 X 768 request..
When windows starts to load it needs a video driver and it will use the default one
until it reads your setting for your desktop....then it will switch it over , you
can sometimes over ride this by setting up only one user for the laptop..
Most of the newer machine you will not see this because then run so much faster..
(just a flash on the screen)
