Hi Chris, phew! that was a mouthful, and I agree with you, for the most part. Firstly,
most of the malware, antivirus's etc; can play some madness with the reg files, and
by the way, viruses love dial up,anyway Chris, if you're in a position, and have
the cd, perhaps you should do a fresh install, and when you've done that you should
consign IE to the far off reaches, and use a much safer and infinately more secure
browser,like Firefox. Be sure to reinstall AVG etc; but expect a slow down in loading,
(but worth the wait) Good luck and I hope things work out well for you.
