I have a similar issue.... control, panel, add remove programs, etc... all gone...
get message... "operation has been cancelled (note spelling error)...." ran adaware
2007... and removed a lot of files, but the relevant ones couldn't be removed....
getting pop-ups and can't access any administrator privileges! help!
