Hello, Following the Add\Remove Programs toolbox failure, I try to follow the steps recovery from the Microsoft support: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;266668 I did well all the registry modifications from step 1 to step 5, skipping step 5. I just noticed that the directory "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System" is empty. This means that even though I write the accurate values in the registry, my Add/Remove programs tool doesn't work any more. How can I do to fill correctly this dirtectory with the librairies without doing an in-place upgrade or reinstallation of Windows 2000.
