You may have a damage disk or a bad COPY..
Do you have any other CD's that are boot-able, if not you can make one on some other
PC then try in on your machine..that will tell you if the CD disk you have is bad.
You will need a boot disk for win98se to make a boot cd disk....get the boot disk
from bootdisk.com for free..
