I dug out my Win98 SE CD. I tested it and my WinXP CD on my WinXP system. It was able to boot with both of them, no problems. (The respective Setup screens loaded up.) On the Win2000 system they both give me the same result: "Searching for boot record from CDROM . . not found". The computer is not finding the boot record. I am open to tweaking the Registry if anybody can suggest anything. Maybe Windows can open the CD even if BIOS or DOS can't???
