Strange "missing window" symptoms

I use the tool "Microsoft PHOTOED" quite often but for years I have had this problem that I can not fix. I use multiple monitors and it is as if the Photoed non-maximized window is off screen somewhere. I see nothing unless I force the window to Maximize. So to summarize I can use this tool with no problems as long as I have the window Maximized. If I select the resizable window then the tool disappears. I have tried to use the Windows keyboard based selection of the "Move window" command but the non-maximized window is not visible so I can't seem to find or move this apparently off-screen window onto the screen. This tool used to work fine. One day my multi-monitor configuration resorted to just one screen and my non-maximized PHOTOED window just somehow disappeared. Each time the tool is run it apparently starts at the same off-screen location. Has anyone seen this problem? Thanks.
