I create & store a lot of documents in MSWorks word processer. I just tried to file a document in a prior file only to find it 'empty' although it allowed me to save the document just created. I ran a search of C: based on a keyword I knew was in some of the documents in that file. The 'missing' docs were found by the search but, when I tried to open one, I got the "buffer overrun" error message. The contents of all my other files seem intact. I have no problems with other computer functions. I have the same 'missing docs' when I check in MSWord as well. As noted, Outlook Express, I.E., etc. are all funtioning fine and I just ran spyware and anti-virus checks two days ago with negative findings. ************
