Hi there,
Every time I try to open a windows prog an installer runs and gives the error message
that it can't find searchsettings.msi

A search using altavista only returns answers from yahoo, most of which have been
deleted.

I am sure I am not the only one to ever have this problem but it is odd that nothing
turns up in a search.

A repair of windows 2000 using the fast repair has simply resulted in me not being
able to open outlook express or many other progs. can't even access msconfig as
it says it's missing.
Any ideas please ?
