Well I stuck the 2k cd in the cd drive and booted up and you get the choice to install
or repair 2000.
Choosing repair you then get the choice to do it from the console, which I can never
understand what to do, or press f for a fast repair in which the disk is checked
and does what it does.
The first time I ran the fast repair it didn't do much so I ran it again and then
found I couldn't load outlook express or IE so I had to re install those.
At least I have browsing capabilities and email back but of course the pesky little
installer still rears it's head.
I had a dam virus a while back called dealio which installs itself via a website
even if you say no don't install. I deleted it and several other files and then
the problem with the installer started.
