thanks kiwi and dex for responding to my cry for help! When my son installed xp he
didn't finish I guess and everyday for a month when the computer came on a message
would flash saying I had so many days to activate xp, it was working fine. Then I
put the activation #'s in, 4 sets of 4 #'s that were on the back of the book that
came with the disk. Then a message flashed saying that these #'s have been used too
many times and it locked me out. I re-entered the #'s 2 more times with the same
result. I've noticed now that xp has boogered up some of 2000 and I can't re-install
my printer. Your help is greatly appreciated!
