Maureen Clow, I just had to mention this issue that
I just realized and noticed while turning off the active
desktop feature.
I have the split screen where my start button is now
located close to about one inch. That is so that I can
open programs, such as control panel and so forth.
When I turned off the active desktop the wallpaper
went black, of course. But what I noticed is that the
piece of screen where the start button is located stayed the same, lighted. That
did nothing for the
problem that I want to solve.
What I need is to bring that start button to the left
bottom side of my screen and close that split screen
where the start button is.
I just thought that you should know. I have been at
this since wednesday. Sorry
