display adapter driver

My pc will not recognize my display adapter and will only let me use the VGA save
default setting....my card is compatible and I have the disc with the driver bundle..but
everytime I try to load the driver for my card ...I get a prompt telling me the driver
I am trying to install is not compatible with the display adapter I have on my pc.
I have the same motherboard and card working fine on another pc.
