I have windows 2000 with at&t compatible computer.Until recently every thing was working fine. Until I removed a spyware program (sorry I forget which one), I believe it was registry booster 2. When I go to reboot computer, it ask me for password for access! That never happened before, luckily I remembered it, then I go to run windows media player 9 it tells me I have internal conflict! Now I can not install any thing, run media player or qtime! I have no idea how to reset administrator controls or where to do it! I went to microsoft but nothing I read makes sense or looks the same as on my computer! Can some one give me a walk through as to how to regain control of my computer! Please I am a computer idiot so step by step is greatly appreciated!
