it's best to get it working right, RUN sfc /purgecache this will check your file systems files and replace them if it finds them in error. Or reboot with the win2k cd in the rom drive and run the repair files listed. this will put your systems files back in order like they should be by default. BUT if you are on a network computer ask the IT to give you and hand, some IT's have it setup to restore it like it was b/4 you got on the PC.
