Hello all. Im having a problem with doing schedule backups in Windows 2000 terminal.
Ill try to give you guys as much details as I can.

I can log into the server localy or remotely and make a backup using windows backup
software. Im currently only backing up our data drive e:\. When i try to scedule
a task for at night to backup the drive, at 11 p.m., it doesnt seem to want to run.
I get the following error;

4.71.2195.6972"Wednesday incremental backup.job" (NTBACKUP.EXE) 7/9/2008 11:00:00
PM ** ERROR ** The attempt to log on to the account associated with the task failed,
therefore, the task did not run. The specific error is: 0x80070569: Logon failure:
the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer. Verify that
the task's Run-as name and password are valid and try again.

I know what most are going to say is that I dont have the rights. I didnt in the
past, but the Admin granted me the rights a few weeks back. Heres the kicker, when
i get back in the morning, i check the scheduler log and see that it didnt work,
so I create another schedule task for 5 minutes in the future (Of the same task),
log off the server, wait, and then go see about 10 minutes later. The scheduled backup
worked!

So im not sure what is going on here, either I cant run a sceduled task after a certain
time, or since my user is still logged into domain in during the day when i schedule
a new one, its working. This would mean once i shut my PC at night, im not on the
domain so it doesnt allow me anymore? Doesnt make sence to me.

Anyone else have problems like this in the past?
