I tried following the steps on an XP machine but unfortunately I still couldn't get it to offer an NTFS option, and Convert wouldn't work, either. I've heard that Sony Vaio accessories are notoriously difficult to set up properly, if you don't have the original rescue/setup disk. Maybe this is just one of those.
