Installing win2k on new hd Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 3:52 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Hyuga (67 messages posted) Hello I'm a bit clueless in this regard so thought best to ask I'll be getting a brand new 500GB HDDsoon but wanted to install win2k onto it (am building a new pc) However I wasn't sure iof the drive needed any pre install work doen ebfore it's useable? like formatting it? and also how to install it on the drive (I only have the cd) Is it possible to select reinstall windows on my other drive then just inform it to install to the new one? if I have it set up as a slave drive?
