I have a windows 2000 server that is having difficulty connecting to a windows XP pro shared printer. It takes 53 seconds from the time the print job is sent to the time the small text file is printed. I ran wireshark and watched the traffic and I noticed that I get a SMB Tree connect AndX request to Path: \\[hostname]\IPC$ and then it hangs and at second 53 a new request comes through to connect to path: \\[hostname]\[printer]. Any ideas as to what could be causing this delay?
