Hi, This is what I did. I've always used a backup program called Express Assist v. 7. to back up everything about O-E. I put the cloned 98 drive in a usb enclosure, and copied Express Assist to the root.. Then I put the drive into an old Compaq of mine (circa 1998), and booted into safe mode. This went perfectly. Then installed E-A, and allowed it to back up O-E completely to a file (in the root). Put the hd back into the enclosured and copied this .eaz file to a flash drive. Sometime this week, I'll put E-A on the customer's box and restore all the settings, .wab, and dbx's. This should work fine. I've used E-A for many years, and it is great for keeping a few computers synchronized. That's all for now. Packrat1947
