Complains That "Drive B" Not Ready

On booting, W2k complains that "Drive B" is not ready. I don't have a "Drive B" and don't want a "Drive B". The complaint prevents the computer from booting without manual intervention to dismiss the complaint, which prevents rebooting remotely. How can I stop W2K from so stopping the booting process? I've gone in Administrative Management, but it lists no drive B. On Explorer, a drive B is shown as a floppy, but why it shows, I don't know.
