I've just graduated to W2kPro, SP4, IE6 SP1. Much to my surprise, the more I see the better I like it. I have myself as Administrator and a power user, but the rest of the family are ordinary users, as they are likely to do silly things with the system just by accident. I've kept my Eudora Lite 3.0.6 'cos it's simply the best!!!, but it cannot rename the Windows MAPI dll's when invoked from the users profiles. (Eudora wants to use its own MAPI when it's running -- I don't fully understand the sordid details.) I have noticed the Eudora doesn't have a problem when used from a power user's account, so it must have something to do with permissions -- which look like a plate of spaghetti to me. I guess a quick fix would be to disable Eudora's MAPI in the user accounts (set "Use Eudora MAPI server: Never" in Tools>Options, but I dunno how that affects normal email operations.
