I have a question about Clear Unwanted Entries from Explorer's New Menu:

Hi There, I followed the advice on how to remove entries from the "right click on the desktop-"new"- menu" and I went into regedit and it worked! (I was trying to remove Open Office entries from the "new" menu) Well, it worked, and when I closed the regedit and right clicked on the desktop the entries were gone. However.... within less than a minute they were back again and magically re-appeared (Arrrgh) I am mystified as to why this might be..all I can think is maybe I was supposed to reboot after the regedit.. Any Help with this would be greatly apprecciated Thanks in advance, Chris Savoy (I use Windows 2000 Professional with Service pack 4)
