"When Internet Connection Sharing is enabled, your LAN adapter will be set up to use IP address 192.168.0.1. Your computer may lose connectivity with other computers on your network. This a problem with Windows 2000. An you do not want to mess with the router, There is a practical solution. This subject has come up before. There is a software solution to this. I am a little slow, I will have to go search this forum for the information on how to do a "bridge" in Windows 2000. It is in here somewhere. "LAN bridge" is what I will look for.
