HI jmtravis It's not a win2k error it's how you saved the file in Word.. All Word doc's have a header file in the doc file that tells the OS how and what to load up with the doc.. Try this,,remove the normal.dot file in Explore or in Search and Word will made a new one when you restart Word..and use a default one to load up the doc files..with some luck it should pop up.. Under the TOOL item in WORD you select the Word Ver.you want to save it in... ====
