I have a proprietary application that is required to run on W2k by law. I recently
replaced some aging laptops with new ones. Now I cannot get audio to work. I get
an error that no audio mixer is available. I have tried mfg. sites for a w2k driver
but no luck and the latest xp driver wont install on w2k. I rolled back the driver
to about 4 versions back but now I dont even have a speaker icon in sys tray. Any
ideas?
