internet connection sharing on win 2000 Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at 10:02 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Dee (1 messages posted) when i try to tick ics box to enable it i get the following message "internet connection sharing cannot be enabled. the lan connection selected as the private network is either not present,or is dissconnected from the network. make sure it is connected before you enable ics" but my network is up and running fine. i have win me and 2000 profesional on the same pc and it works fine on win me but i get this message on 2000 any ideas??
