Temporary Internet Files Folder Sunday, August 26, 2001 at 2:36 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Flutter (3 messages posted) There are 2 users set up on my pc (self and spouse). Currently, in this folder I have 52 cookies with a total of 52kb. However, if I click on the properties for the folder it says that I have 182 files, 4 folders and they are taking up 48.2mb on the disk - but none of these appear in the folder. If I check my husband's settings, he has 166 cookies with a total of 166kb. The properties for his folder show that he has 1378 files, 228 folders and they take up 74mb on this disk. Where are they? what could they be? and how can I remove them? I've already used the delete temporary internet files option from the control panel and used the disk cleanup - to no avail.
