had it running for long enough to install all of the software that i had before, minus sp2 and the latest critical updates. what happened? im online and all of a sudden the connection drops and services.exe sucks up the cpu again (dont know which order it happened in, it probably tried to reconnect). this is really getting on my nerves. it has to be some of the software that i just installed:

nero creative sb live! drivers opera 5.12 and java 2 mozilla via hardware monitor and 4in1 drivers winzip adobe acrobat reader icq mirc
