Do you have a user name on the 98 machine? I had share issues like that and found
that you have to create a user name to the 98 box and then go to the w2000
and add the same name in the add user section of control panel. This allowed
me to share the w2000 drives with the 98 boxes and I think it will clear up your
printing issue. Microsoft has a tip sheet on it although it was tough to find.
