Question about 'Share an Internet Connection' Tuesday, January 1, 2002 at 4:24 pm Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Miked (1 messages posted) I have a question about Share an Internet Connection: I did everything that was mentioned, but the pc upstairs will not get on the internet. I am running no firewall that i know of. I can ping the 2 computers but I can not get an outside ip addres pinged from the other pc. The ICS server is this one, windows 2000 professional. The client is on a windows 98 secod edition platform. All of the networking components are right. I have 2 NiC's in the host and 1 in the client, I am about to cry! I dont have a clue whats wrong here.
