I have a question about Things that slow down system bootup:

Hi- I've tried using msconfig from win 98 to speed up initial boot and eliminate background clutter, but it doesn't show even half of the processes (programs?) that show up in the win 2k task manager at all times. Can anyone tell me how to both eliminate unwanted programs from startup (already set services to manual), and stop unnecessary programs/processes (whatever) from running in the background? Hope I'm making sense.... :) Thanks.
