Friday, July 5, 2002 at 11:11 am Windows 2000 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Shawn (2 messages posted) I have a question about Getting Wake On Lan (sometimes called Remote Wake Up) to work: I got wake on lan working on my home network. In fact, I wrote a webpage using .Net so I can just click an link and my home computers will turn on. Then after they boot I connect to them using Terminal Services. My problem is, how so I shut the machine down again? I am running XP, and the shut down option doesn't appear when connecting remotely.
